VibeBot
An app for Mac and Windows. The same window as in the browser, plus a menu bar icon, a global hotkey and notifications while the window is closed.
On a Mac the easiest way is one command — below, under “How to install”. Not sure which Mac you have? menu → “About This Mac”: “Chip Apple M…” means Apple Silicon, “Processor Intel” means Intel. All builds and past versions
How to install
Mac
Way 1 — one command. macOS asks nothing.
- Open Terminal: ⌘ Space, type “Terminal”, Enter.
- Paste the command and press Enter:
curl -fsSL https://vibebot.24oros.ru/download/install-mac.sh | bash - The app downloads, is verified by checksum, lands in Applications and opens. Sign in — after that it signs in by itself.
Way 2 — the .dmg file.
- Open the .dmg and drag VibeBot into Applications.
- On first launch macOS says “Apple could not verify…” and offers “Move to Trash”. Click “Done” — do not move it to the Trash.
- System Settings → Privacy & Security → at the bottom “Open Anyway” → your Mac password. Once only. On macOS before 15, right-click the icon → “Open” is enough.
The app is signed without a paid Apple developer account — hence the system’s questions about a file “from the internet”. The command downloads the build without that mark and verifies it by checksum, the same one self-update uses.
Windows
- Download the installer VibeBot-Setup.exe and run it.
- If Windows says “Windows protected your PC” — “More info” → “Run anyway”. Once only: the installed app never asks again.
- The installer does the rest: your user folder, a Start menu and desktop shortcut, launch. No administrator password.
- Sign in — after that the app signs in by itself.
The app is not signed with a paid publisher certificate — hence the SmartScreen warning. It uninstalls from “Apps & features” like any other app.

⌥ Space on Mac, Ctrl + Alt + Space on Windows — the window appears on top of everything.
Notifications
A bot finished, or is waiting for your “yes” — you’ll know even with the window closed.
A menu bar icon
The app sits next to the clock and stays out of your way.
Sign in once
The password is kept in the system’s secure storage: Keychain on Mac, Windows encryption.
Updates itself
A new version downloads and installs on the next start. A swapped file is caught by the checksum.
Everything needed installs itself
Node, Python, git and code search come from the installer, no internet needed. ffmpeg, pandoc and the bot’s browser are fetched in the background. No administrator password.
In a browser and on your phone
The online version works in any browser. On a phone, open it and choose “Add to Home Screen” — it behaves like an app. And messaging the bots and approving actions works from Telegram too.
